Received part of an order from Sportlots yesterday to get me started, at least on the Rangers side. Let's see what came in!
First up, the only base set card in this order
Next up a batch of The Rookies
Now, knowing that the two teams I am focusing on are the Rangers and the Mets, you have noticed the last card, Danny Tartabull. The seller obviously made a mistake as the other Ranger in this set is Bobby Witt. But getting one of my favorite childhood ball players, Ruben Sierra, and Danny's hilarious notoriety from Seinfeld, made up for getting the wrong card.
The final card received was from a Donruss set I had never seen before, the All-Stars. So imagine my suprise when I pulled out this 3.5 x 5 card.
Obviously not anyone of any particular mention, but it sure was fun getting a card from a set I had never seen before.
